I'd a bowling session yesterday. I've been bowling since 2001, December 2001 to be exact. I've gone a long way since than. Starting as two stepper, I’ve evolve 4 stepper and then 6 stepper; playing with straight ball to hook ball and going as far as having my own equipment - a generic 11lb (11lb!) and a pair of shoes.
Having played the game for so long, I should’ve developed my game to a respected level. Sadly, it isn’t the case. After playing for sooo long, my average score was just around 120+ to 150+. Although I occasionally achieve 180 – 190+ (over 200pts in two occasions), my average was still low … *sob*.
Date: 7th May 2003
Above is the scores I got yesterday. I think the problem with my game is my inability to convert spares. If (and only if) I can work out my spare game, my score will be higher than those.
The other weakness in my game is psychology. After all this years, I've come to discovered that bowling is a mental game. All my bad games were all resulted from my lack of concentration. hahh ... concentrating is not an easy art to master, especially in different situations. I'm confident if I can develop my mental state, my game will improve tremendously.
